Boardsports has teamed up with WCS Financial, Grindhouse, Steam Whistle Brewing and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to help create a world without breast cancer. At 8PM, March 24th, Boardsports Against Breast Cancer kicks off at Steam Whistle Brewery. Boardsports Against Breast Cancer is closing down the brewery to bring you a wicked night of awesome prizes and swag all in support of a worthy cause.
The Good Beer Folks of Steam Whistle Brewing will run their world famous brewery tours complimentary for guests. When you aren’t busy showing off your steam knowledge, Grindhouse has your gastro-needs covered with fantastic good-for-you whole foods.
The main event, our auction, opens at 9PM and runs till 11PM. Our generous auction sponsors, including Burton Snowboards, O’Neill, Roxy, Quiksilver, Volcom, Nikita, Salomon Snowboards, Bonfire, Spy, Moksha Yoga North York, Les Ettes, Sector 9, Oakley, Landyachtz, Lululemon Athletica, Secrets From Your Sister, Nice PKG, Skull Candy, We to Me Style, Cilla, Spacecraft, Arbor, Push.ca, Rugged Riders, Women’s Snowboard Federation and Rad Galz Colleczion, have donated everything from yoga passes to longboards, outerwear to summer shopping sprees.
If auctions aren’t you thing, there will also be a raffle of equally rad donated prizes from the same auction sponsors. Included with your event ticket is one free raffle entry to use on any raffle prize.
And, as if that isn’t a lot already, the first one hundred people in the doors of the historic John Street Roundhouse receive a Boardsports Against Breast Cancer goodie bag. We suggest, however, showing up early and being one of the first twenty through the roundhouse doors as we have something extra special for you. Nobody is going home empty handed!
When you aren’t bidding on auction items music, presentations, and shred videos are there to keep you entertained along side the sponsor themed photo booth equipped with life size pink ribbon! So, leave your black-tie at home and polish those skate shoes to walk our pink carpet and support the 23,000 women in Canada currently battling Breast Cancer.
Tickets are available for $25 at Boardsports 2010 Yonge Street location in Toronto. Tickets will also be available at the door … if there are any left, so get your tickets while you still can!
