We all have had to attend boring gala charity events with dry chicken and uncomfortable clothes.  The vision for the auction is to create a young adult-friendly event that steps out of the pricey ticket and plated dinner relam and caters to the unique, vibrant and supportive action sports community comprised of skateboarders, snowboarders, surfers, kite boarders, wake boarders, and longboarders.

Suppliers have been chosen for the event that have a concern for healthy living and environmental issues.  Our venue is one of the leaders in green initiatives in Toronto and our catering crew has cutlery made out of sugar and everything is 100% bio-degradeable.  Beyond their sugar-spoons and steam heat brewery, Grindhouse and Steam Whistle care about what goes into their products, no perservatives, anti-biotic laiden meat or un-natural ingredients. 

Boardsports Against Breast Cancer isn’t about how much you bid or the amount you donate, its about becoming socially responsible, in some respect, for our community members.  In the end, the night is about protecting the lives of the women (and men) we ride with!
